A Green Glove ranking represents improved technical execution and a better understanding of combinations. This level introduces more advanced footwork, spins, sweeps, defensive tactics and a basic proficiency in controlled sparring.

A Red Glove ranking represents a solid grasp of technique, strategy and ring movement. This level requires the ability to execute techniques under pressure in sparring and incorporate fluid evasions. Yellow Glove requires mastery of techniques that utilize spins, jumps, feints and the use of misdirection and complex combinations Practitioners at this level may assist in training others and refining their tactical expertise.

Silver Glove ranking signifies technical mastery and a comprehensive understanding Boxe Française Savate. This ranking involves the proficient demonstration of Savate concepts applied in advanced sparring situations, as well as a solid grasp on how to direct and redirect energy in a sparring exchange. Holders of this rank are often certified instructors and mentors to lower-ranked savateurs.
