The Finnish Savate Federation and Savate Club Helsinki welcomes you all to HELSINKI SAVATE OPEN 2025!
This year, the Savate Helsinki Open event will be organised for the 11th time in Helsinki, Finland 14-15 March 2025. There are two choices for participation: the Open competition and an assaut tournament called Mika Kalliomaa Challenge.
The Challenge tournament is named after one of the great pioneers of Finnish savate, Mika Kalliomaa (1972–2016). The Challenge will be organised in all weight categories which have three or more fighters.
The Challenge will be organised according to the FISav rules of international competition. For detailed rules, see the separate document: Helsinki Open Rules 2025 (PDF)
The Open competition consists of friendly assauts, and there will be no weight category winners nominated. Participation is open for male and female juniors, seniors and veterans with any level of experience and all weight categories. You are, however, asked to fill in your weight in the inscription, as this will help us build the competition programme.

All delegations participating in the competition have the opportunity to attend a training session at 18:15-19.30 at Savate Club Konala.
Competition event is open for visitors (free entry). There will be a café at the event to support the Finnish Savate association’s activities.
